Ibanez DM2000 Digital Delay
Переглядів 1,2 тис.Рік тому
Early 1980’s digital delay. You can set any delay time accurately in milliseconds starting from 0ms. With the modulation section and the feedback control it’s possible to set flanger and chorus as well as any delay / echo. The original manufacturer diagram on top of the unit is still there and provide a range of suggestions for settings. It’s old tech obviously and the unit can’t store settings...

BMW Z4 (E89) : Keyless engine start without fob inserted
Переглядів 4,5 тис.2 роки тому
Start and drive your BMW Z4 (E89) without the fib inserted. This works for all Z4 (E89) models (2009-2016) and doesn’t require Comfort Access. Not sure why anyone would need this feature but it’s there. Curious to hear what you’re making of it. Anyone knows the intended purpose of this feature?

U2 | Jack in the Box (Demo for RTE 'The Rock Show' in April 1980)
The Edge is easily among the top 10 greatest guitar players of all time. With Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Brian May, Kirk Hammet, Jimmy Paige, Eddie Van Halen, Prince, ect.
I have never heard anyone say he was terrible!?!?? Honestly he is brilliant while every young gun guitar player from the 80's wanted to ply 1000 notes per minute. The Edge was creating the Joshua Tree. And all the young guns are basically gone or had their 10 minutes of fame. Now 40 years later that Album stands the test of time and 40 years from now it will still be relevant. I don't care how good a player you think you are, its not about the playing its about the song.
Too long to be a single. Would need a hefty radio friendly edit
it's like he combined rock with the Celtic ambient style...he defined the 80s spirit to be free
very innovative. great guitarists have their own signature that they create and successfully use in a variety of music demands, andEdge most certainly fits that.
People shit on The Edge guitar skills saying" hE hIdS bEhiNd HiS eFfEcTs" While Tom Morrelo uses pedals to play notes for him.
People who say they hate The Edge haven't actually *listened* to U2 but instead parrot opinions froms internet forums on U2 videos.
The Edge is more a producer than a guitar player. Love the sounds he can produce.
Fascinating.
He's right, it should've been the first single.
I am surprised Edge doesn’t whip out a theramin. Lol!
Man is a sound scientist
This is very 'Spinal Tap'. I guessing that when that young tech chap isn't busy handing De Edge his guitars and reminding him which knob does "de long delay" he cuts the corners off the pieces of cheese that go in De Edge's sandwiches and makes sure the "Dobly" button is engaged.
Please can you tell me what model your flip up media unit is ?? 😊
Amazing...how a guy who can barely play makes an incredible living playing guitar.
does anyone know what song he plays form minute 00:00 to minute 015:00 ??
How hard is Edge playing? Just try to strum these songs correctly: Streets Have no Name, Pride, and New Years Day. Edge is one of the best because he had the sound. U2 is hard to cover. One of the reason why is his tone.
all that gear and yet bill bailey recreated the excat tone with one pedel lol
classic Aussie song
Until the end of the world is such a good song an riff
I like a lot the sound of the edge
Let the guitar intervene in the fight.😆
Le dio sonido a la banda
Looking at the rig now is like looking at a 80s boom box. I aint saying i love tech but, shit.
I miss that old rig :( Perfect organic and natural tones. Nowadays Edge sound more flat and synthetic...
Nonsense.
@@TC2290-wh5cb Just compare pre and post-2015 bootlegs / IEMs :)
Ring those bells ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Edge is so very talented. There is no one else comes close . I love Edge and could listen to him talk forever. Would like to meet him. He has a beautiful voice also. Love to hear him sing Van Diemens Land. Sooo beautiful. ❤❤❤
Hey edge, take some guitar lessons. You're horrible
You jelly?
@@TC2290-wh5cb hell to the NO, zero tone and zero technique. U2 sucks a$$
@@douglasdimwitty-zs9gx You literally have zero idea what you're talking about, go back to Satriani.
Jimmy Page called the Edge a sonic architect..who the f*ck are you again? You're an internet nobody walking abortion that's who.
@@kevinkeenan6078 your mom didn't think so, speaking of abortions your dad said you're living proof that you could fk up a wet dream. Go back to the hole you came from
Awesome!
His use of echo is trademark. You hear it. You know it's U2. It's a phenomenal sound.
EARGASM 😊
What a humble guy... his name is a household word, and yet he views himself as subordinate to the entirety of the song being poured out of the entire group!!!
Obrigado The Edge 🙏🙌❤️
I love that song so much
The Edge is a very nice chap, but OMG, what a boring band. Why do people like such boring music?
What's your idea of "not boring" music?
The only people who slag off The Edge as a guitarist are UA-cam Nobodies. The Edge for me might be the greatest creator of the Killer Riff ever. Think Vertigo, New Year's Day, I Will Follow, Out Of Control, Pride, With or Without You, and on and on.
Dude has looked the same forever 😂 bro was born with that beard lmao
The Edge is an intelligent and sexy man. 😍
Thanks to him and his tech, they don't need additional electric guitarists in the band. I've often wondered how u2 gets the sounds they produce with one electric lead guitarist and one bass player.
Love the edges comments. That's why I love every note of U2songs, he is fore ever present, without taking over with a bad solo for nothing, like many other bands.❤🎉😮
Is that a song he's playing in the beginning or is he just improvising? Because that sounds incredible
The edge is a dam good guitarist bc to not mess up while using the delay takes skill lol
Releasing boots ended their radio career
Atomic City has revived their radio career to some degree.
Always on the Edge
Brian, unfortunately most of the songs on NLOTH weren’t all that good.
U2 [The Edge] - > One...word...GENIUS !!
from the 42 bus from Malahide Road to the Sphere
I've been a U2 fan and a guitar player for 35 years. The Edge conjures sounds out of his rig like a wizard.
Get On Your Boots was a terrible single, first or otherwise. It felt like a Vertigo sequel and sent the worst message.
